Driving Directions to Shining Mountain
From Hwy. 167 and Hwy. 512:
1. From 167, exit to Hwy. 512 heading west.
2. Take the Summit, Canyon Rd exit off 512 (Past Puyallup).
3. Turn left onto Canyon Rd. Stay on Canyon Rd. until you come to 176th St. (about 5 miles).
4. At intersection of 176th. and Canyon turn right.
5. Continue west on 176th. St. until you come to 22nd St.
6. At intersection of 176th St. and 22nd St. turn left.
7. Stay on 22nd until you come to 208th St. At intersection of 22nd and 208th St. turn left.
8. Continue east on 208th St. until you come to Wright Rd. At intersection of 208th and Wright Rd. turn right.
9. Follow Wright Rd. (Turns into 38th Ave. E.) Shining Mountain Elementary is the first school building on the left.
Directions to Shining Mountain Elementary via I-5.
1. Take Exit 127 heading east on Hwy. 512.
2. Take the second exit (Parkland/Mt. Rainer/Pacific Lutheran University Exit) off 512 and turn right. You are now on Pacific Ave./Mtn. Hwy. 7 heading south.
3. Follow Pacific Ave. / Mtn. Hwy. 7 until you come to 224th St. At intersection of Pacific Ave./Mtn. Hwy.7 turn left.
4. Continue north on 224th St. until you come to 38th Ave. E. At intersection of 224th and 38th Ave. turn left.
5. Follow 38th Ave. E. past the Senior and Junior High Schools. Shining Mountain is the third school on the right.
